Qianhe / Work

The problems were specific.

Sourcing stories are only useful if they are true. Client names are withheld; every case below is written from the actual project record, and details can be shared under NDA on request.

Note — projects being added This page is being filled with case records as they are cleared for publication. The structure below shows what each case will contain. If you would like to discuss a specific reference now, ask directly — we would rather tell you about real projects in person than publish something rounded up.

How each case is written

/ 01

The brief

What the buyer asked for, in the words they used — including the parts that were unclear at the start.

/ 02

What we found

The factories, the samples, the quotes, and the thing that turned out to be the real problem.

/ 03

What went wrong

Every project has a moment. It is included, because a case without one is marketing.

/ 04

What it cost

Real figures where the client allows it: unit price, tooling, freight, our fee.

/ 05

What shipped

Quantity, timing, and whether the acceptance inspection passed first time.

/ 06

What came next

Reorders, changes, or the relationship ending. Both outcomes are worth reading.

Why we publish failures too

A page of clean successes tells you nothing about how a partner behaves when a factory delivers the wrong finish three weeks before a hotel opening.

The useful question is not "have you ever had a problem" — everyone has. It is who paid for it, and what changed afterwards.

Ask us for the project where we got it wrong. The answer is more informative than the ones we got right.

That is what we will put on this page as the records are cleared: the good, the corrected, and the ones we declined.
