We split what we buy the way it actually gets specified and inspected. A modular unit and a waterproof membrane fail for completely different reasons, so they are not shelved together. Here is the logic — and the seven lines inside it.
Judged as a module, not as a material.
These arrive on site complete. What decides whether they pass is dimensional tolerance, joint detail, and whether the services — water, waste, power — line up with the drawings. The factory is a production line, not a workshop, and the acceptance criteria are written before the first unit is built.
Judged by performance data — and by whether the paper matches the goods.
Membranes, boards, insulation, hardware. Each is bought against a stated grade, a stated standard and a stated service condition. The recurring failure is not a bad product; it is a genuine certificate that describes a different model, a different year, or a different factory.
Judged by species, moisture and joinery — things a photo cannot show.
Solid timber moves. It moves differently in Guangzhou than in Rotterdam, and it moves most in the first heating season. Cases, frames and panels are accepted on moisture content and construction detail, then on finish.
Every line below is one we have walked the floor of. If your product sits outside them, we will say so in the first reply rather than learn on your order.
Flat-pack and container-based units, site offices, modular accommodation. Wall, roof and floor cassettes made to a drawing, with the service penetrations agreed before production.
Open this line → 01.2SMC and panelled bathroom modules, floorless or with a pre-formed tray. Dimensions, waste positions and tile layout are fixed on the first pod, then repeated exactly.
Open this line →Low-VOC boards, certified panels, interior surfaces, recycled-content finishes. The certificate model must match the purchase order — one line decides whether green building acceptance passes.
Open this line → 02.2Membranes, coatings and sealants, selected on the real service condition — buried, exposed, wet-room or roof — and verified against the batch actually shipped.
Open this line → 02.3XPS, EPS, rock wool, PIR and facing systems. Density, compressive strength and fire class are specified together, because a board that hits one and misses another is the usual problem.
Open this line → 02.4Hinges, handles, locks and structural fixings. When the price does not match the claimed grade, the mill certificate arrives before the goods do.
Open this line →No quote is meaningful until the finish, the grade, the tolerance and the test standard are written down. We write that down first — then ask for prices.
Once approved, the sample is sealed and referenced in the order. Production is measured against it, not against "similar".
Inspection happens while your money is still in your account. Leverage after payment is imaginary.
Shortages, damage, next-year reorders — the relationship is judged by what happens in month thirteen, not week two.
